Oh Lisa.... I had this really loud pump I had to use in our shared bathroom... OF COURSE right next to the front desk. The bathroom had the fan attached to the light switch, and if the fan was on too long, it would start chirping like a tortured bird. Everyone always loitered around the candy bowl at the front desk and would ask what IS that weird sound!! It was so awkward! So I asked if I could use one of the front offices that was vacant. In a hurry one day, I totally forgot to make sure the vertical blinds were closed and started trying to relax so I could pump. I looked up and could see through the blinds a bit... not wide open, but certainly not closed! luckily the receptionist never mentioned it. I realized all i had to do all those times i was trying to avoid awkward conversations was just take it just a little too far and then NO ONE would have wanted to talk about it any more! JUST KIDDING- don't do that.... I totally feel your pain.
ReplyDeletewow, that's strange - i've actually had BOTH of those dreams
ReplyDeleteI totally sympathize, just know every moment you spend in this effort is worth it.
ReplyDeleteperiod.
