love this lisa! so the hairy guy driving with the pretty blonde drinking a beer reminds you of mom and me? i think it's funny that you could substitute the "last" day of my life with the "first" day of my life and it would still work. we should all live with death on our shoulder so we don't waste any moments.
ha...yeah, I thought it was funny that the clip stopped there. They do remind me of you guys. :) Yes, LJ--anything involving Conor Oberst is probably going to be good.. I agree that in some respects you could substitute first for last, but not in the line LJ picked out, oddly enough! I think this song has aspects of deathbed-type gratitude but also perseverance and love-motivated actions.
